Breaking Down Barriers: Partnering with LifeTime Resources
At Bethany Legacy Foundation, we know health is shaped by daily life, not just what happens in a doctor’s office. That is why we are proud to support LifeTime Resources with a $92,852 two-year grant to launch the Enhancing Community Health through Certified Community Health Workers initiative.
Many Jefferson County residents face barriers to wellness, from transportation and housing to food insecurity and mental health needs. Through this project, trained Community Health Workers will meet people where they are to connect them with the resources they need and reduce preventable crises.
“This funding will allow us to work directly with community members to break down barriers that keep people from living healthier, more stable lives,” said Amber Walker, Director of Operations at LifeTime Resources.
This initiative is our strategic plan Legacy 2030 in action, with a focus on expanding mental health support, transportation access, and social services. By addressing these root causes, LifeTime Resources is building a healthier, more resilient Jefferson County where families, seniors, and neighbors can thrive.
